Azure Load Balancer Vs Amazon Elastic Load Balancer 

Azure Load Balancer and Amazon Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) are both cloud-based load balancers that distribute incoming network traffic across multiple servers to improve application performance, availability, and scalability. Azure Load Balancer Azure Load Balancer is a Microsoft Azure cloud-based load balancing solution. It distributes incoming traffic over numerous virtual machines (VMs) or servers to guarantee that applications have high availability, performance, and scalability.

The Azure Load Balancer runs at the OSI model's Transport layer (Layer 4), allowing it to execute basic load balancing operations like as round-robin, hash-based, or IP affinity-based load balancing.

It can handle both inbound and outgoing traffic and supports a variety of protocols including TCP, UDP, and HTTP/HTTPS. Amazon Elastic Load Balancer 
Amazon Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) is a cloud-based load balancing service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). It distributes incoming traffic across multiple EC2 instances or containers within an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for applications.

AWS Elastic Load Balancing, or ELB, guarantees that inbound application traffic is automatically distributed over many destinations, like as containers, virtual appliances, Amazon EC2 instances, Lambda functions, and IP addresses.

AWS ELB might help manage the constantly changing load of application traffic in a single or several Availability Zones. Elastic Load Balancing on Amazon offers four separate load balancer versions with automated scalability, high availability, and naturally tough security for improved application fault-tolerance.

Key differences Azure Load Balancer Vs Amazon Elastic Load Balancer

Whereas Amazon ELB supports both Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing (HTTP, HTTPS, and SSL/TLS), Azure Load Balancer only offers Layer 4 load balancing (TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS). As a result, Amazon ELB is capable of carrying out more complex tasks including content-based routing and SSL/TLS offloading.

The cost of Azure Load Balancer and Amazon ELB depends on how many hours they are utilized and how much data they handle. To decide which option is most cost-effective for your particular needs, you will need to compare your usage patterns across the two services because their pricing structures are slightly different.

Azure Load Balancer integrates seamlessly with other Azure services, such as Virtual Machines and Virtual Machine Scale Sets, while Amazon ELB works well with other Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, such as EC2 instances and Auto Scaling groups.

Both Azure Load Balancer and Amazon ELB offer high availability and can automatically detect and route traffic to healthy instances. However, Amazon ELB provides more sophisticated health checks that can monitor application-level metrics and trigger automatic scaling based on performance.
