Updates in Cisco DNA Center 2.2.3.3

There is a new release announced by Cisco on Cisco DNA Center with new features and updates/enhancements. The major update is the scalability in Cisco DNA center by increasing the support of endpoints and users on to the Platform.

Cisco DNA Center is a complete management and control platform for your network, designed, created, and implemented by Cisco. 

This single, extensible software platform includes integrated tools for network management, automation, virtualization, analytics and assurance, security, and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity and can also interface with your business-critical tools.

There are some other enhancements with the major updates from Cisco on Cisco DNA Center and these updates are described as below.

Platform & SDA Enhancements

  • With the Security Group Policy Analytics dashboard, you can gain a consolidated view of policy activity and alerts.
  • Filter alerts by active or inactive policies and select which ones to pay attention to.
  • With an increasing number of endpoints and users, the platform will scale seamlessly.
  • Get guaranteed performance and value-added services with your Cisco DNA Center investment.

Analytics Enhancements

  • To determine network performance, run reports and pass them up the value chain to managers so they can make decisions about investments.
  • By planning and predicting the interior environment, any WLAN design flaws can be reduced and future performance issues can be mitigated.
  • Identify and monitor outliers in the endpoint onboarding process
  • Measuring end-to-end network performance for Webex meetings can speed up troubleshooting.

NetOps Enhancements

  • Authenticate access points securely using 802.1x
  • A new SWIM Intent API allows you to mark an image as Golden and after a successful image upgrade, update flash automatically to remove old images.
  • Automating the process of replacing failed devices even on a LAN simplifies the replacement process
