Part 3: How to Verify ACI Fabric Health Score and Overall Faults

Today we are going to talk about the verification of the ACI Fabric Health Score and Overall Faults. As you guys knew that APIC is a UCS based CIMC controller and we can check Health Score and Overall Faults from the dashboard

What is Cisco ACI APIC?

One of the important pillar of Cisco ACI is APIC which is known as Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller. It is single pane of glass for automation and management for the Cisco ACI fabric, policy enforcement, and health monitoring. It also optimizes performance and manages and operates a scalable multitenant Cisco ACI fabric.

Verification of ACI Fabric Health Score and Overall Faults

Step 1:Log in to the APIC GUI and Browse System -> Dashboard

Step 2:Capture the overview of Fabric Health and Browse Fabric -> Inventory and select the appropriate pod.

Step 3:In the work pane as shown below, click the faults tab and review faults one by one

Step 4:Double click on a fault to show more information

Step 5:Review the fault and fix where appropriate. After the issue has been solved or classified as not important, click on the actions menu in the top right corner of the dialog box and select acknowledge fault. This will remove the fault from the fault list.
