Adding roles and permissions in vCenter vSphere
Let's talk about how to add roles and permissions in vCenter vSphere. Before going through the process you should have the access to login to the vCenter.
Step 1: Login to vCenter with help of login credentials

Step 2: Go to Administrator --> select Role tab and to add new role right click and select ‘Add’

Step 3: Give role name suppose VM admin and select the role you want to assign from the privilege list, Then click OK

Step 4: Now we can see new role created in roles list. Click on ESXi for which we want to add role. Click on users and group tab

Step 5: Right click and select ADD by which we can create new user. Give user a name and password and here Click OK. You will see that created user is available on User list
Step 6: Now give him the permissions. Go select permission tab and right click and select Add permission. Add the user and assign role from dropdown list. Once done, click ok
