New Member in the Aruba SD-WAN Portfolio - Aruba EC-10106 Appliance
Introduction to Aruba EdgeConnect EC-10106
HPE Aruba has recently introduced the EdgeConnect 10106
SD-WAN Gateway appliance. This appliance provides high-performance SD-WAN capabilities
suitable for small branch and remote offices.
This supports wireless WAN connectivity using 4G/5G/LTE
using a native USB portal with a compatible dongle. In addition to wireless WAN
connections, wired connections are also supported using RJ-45 ports. This time
Aruba has come up with a small compact model with SFP ports (1/10G) to support
fiber optic connections – which was not available in old models. This is a cost-effective
model for small sites with fiber connectivity requirements.
EC 10106 has integrated PoE Support on the Ethernet ports
that can support devices up to 60W.
