Installing Veeam Backup & Replication Console

Installing Veeam Backup & Replication Console

Today we are going to talk about the straight forward process of installing Veeam Backup and Replication console. The important part here to understand is the process is basically when your intent is to configure manually, Generally it is Auto run.

First Step:
If you intend to install Veeam Backup & Replication on a machine other than your PC, mount the installation image with disk image emulation software or burn the installation image to a flash drive or other portable storage device.

The latest versions of tools that can extract data from ISOs of large size and can properly deal with long file paths will be required. After installing Veeam Backup & Replication on a virtual machine, mount the installation image using the tools built into the virtualization management software.

The image or disk will appear after you mount or insert them. If you don't have autorun enabled, run Setup.exe from the image or disk. On the splash screen, click Veeam Backup & Replication Console.

Second Step:
Now the second step is to accept the license for that you need to accept the terms of the Veeam license agreement and 3rd party components license agreement.

Third Step:
Third step, is to check the system configuration, it will populate the requirement like Microsoft PowerShell v2.0; Microsoft CLR types for SQL server; Microsoft SQL server management objects; Microsoft Report viewer and Microsoft Universal C runtime. Check the status, it should be passed and if required, installed all and proceed further.

Fourth step:
Fourth step is where to install in your PC with the proper path installation folder. Depends where you can defined that but it is in C drive folder by default and specify installation path and now it will start with the installation.
