Creating Link Level Policy on ACI APIC
Today we are going to talk about the how to Create Link Level Policy on Cisco ACI APIC Dashboard. As you guys knew that APIC is a UCS based CIMC controller and we can check Link Level Policy on Cisco ACI APIC Dashboard.
What is Cisco ACI APIC?
One of the important pillar of Cisco ACI is APIC which is known as Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller. It is single pane of glass for automation and management for the Cisco ACI fabric, policy enforcement, and health monitoring. It also optimizes performance and manages and operates a scalable multitenant Cisco ACI fabric.
To create a new Link Level Policy follow below steps
Step 1: Login to your APIC and On the menu bar, choose Fabric > Access Policies

Step 2: In the Navigation pane, choose Policies > Interface > Link Level
Step 3:In the Work pane, choose Actions > Create Link Level Policy
Step 4:In the Create CDP Interface Policy dialog box

Perform the following actions:
- Define a name to your policy and provide description
- Select auto negotiation mode to “on” for the interface
- Select the interface speed. Leaf switch ports default to 10GE
- Change the de-bounce interval if required and keep Forwarding Error Correction as Inherit and submit
