Prisma SASE:  Autonomous Digital Experience Manager (ADEM)

What is ADEM ?

Prisma Access SASE ADEM tool offers immediate insight into your Prisma Access mobile workforce and remote networks connected via Prisma SD-WAN. As an add-on to Prisma Access, ADEM delivers comprehensive analytics, including CPU and memory usage, as well as Wi-Fi and local network monitoring

Additionally, ADEM gathers data from all connectivity points through the respective ISPs, including connections via Prisma Access. Within the ADEM console’s mobile user view, this information is displayed with drill-down capabilities, allowing detailed examination of client machine utilization, hop-by-hop analytics, and application response times to swiftly pinpoint the root cause of user performance issues.

ADEM employs synthetic testing to gather network performance metrics—including availability, latency, jitter, and loss—across various segments such as LAN, internet, Prisma Access, and applications. It also captures end-to-end application performance metrics like DNS resolution time, HTTP connect, SSL connect, HTTP latency, time to first byte, and time to last byte.

Together, ADEM for remote networks and Prisma Access enable comprehensive measurement of traffic levels, network performance, and application performance—from the remote site, through Prisma Access, all the way to the web application, whether it is hosted privately, in the public cloud, or accessed directly via the internet.

ADEM provides a consolidated performance overview of all Prisma SD-WAN connected remote offices and mobile users on a single screen.

We will come up with next article on how to enable ADEM in Prisma Access Portal.
